On 4 September 2026, the Official Gazette published a regulation that alters rules for payment services and electronic money issuers, updating the earlier Payment Services and Electronic Money Issuers Regulation.

The same issue also introduced changes to the Data Sharing Service regulations linking payment service providers with electronic money institutions, specifying new protocols for information exchange. Earlier that month, the Energy Market Regulatory Authority issued decisions 14847 and 14848 on 3 September 2026 addressing market oversight matters.

The Fifth Chamber of the Court of Appeals adopted a ruling on the same subject; its decision is now published. The Central Bank released daily values for foreign exchange rates and state debt securities effective from the same day.
